Just for Kids Foundation

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

The Just For Kids Foundation provides essential scholarships, operating grants, program support, capital & start-up funding, and new/updated equipment to deserving youth & youth organizations within the San Miguel Watershed including the towns of Naturita, Norwood, Nucla, Paradox, Telluride & all points in between.

Each spring, we invite graduating high school seniors to apply for the annual merit-based Man of La Mancha scholarship.

In the fall, organizations who serve youth in our community can apply for a grant of up to $5,000 to support their individual programming/specific needs.

During both application periods, individual students in middle & high school can submit a request for funding for personal development or experiential learning opportunities. Maximum award is $500/student/year.

Funding priorities for JFK are programs that provide a high quality learning experience. Applications must be complete, submitted on time via the website, and comply with all of the requested requirements. No exceptions. JFK will not award grants to projects or expenses that have already occurred (prior to award).

All applicants are required to attend a 10-minute interview with the JFK Board. A representative will contact you to schedule your interview after the application window has closed.
